ACCFO is an instrument to help community colleges reap the benefits of experienced, licensed, dedicated, knowledgeable, and professional facility personnel.  Each member contributes his/her philosophy and management style so other members can utilize the positive viewpoints within their own community college operations.

Through ACCFO, there is a mutual professional learning and support system which provides committed individuals experienced in maintaining facility operations of the highest standards.  The effectiveness of the facility operations is apparent upon entering the campus facilities.  The various modifications at each institution reflect the fulfillment of the special needs, and requirements such as the accessibility to the campus facilities for persons with disabilities.  ACCFO members contribute their expertise to the design and construction of new buildings and modifications to existing structures.  Their insight and experience provides a resource for colleges to enhance their campuses and assist with continued growth of the institution.

Through ACCFO, members have an outlet to sharing information, experiences, and knowledge with fellow members. In conjunction with other campus organizations, ACCFO strives to assist with the colleges’ mission.  Communication between members is an important link in providing standard facility procedures within the college system.  Participation is a key factor in the success of the Association and its contribution to the individual college.
